Avoiding Your Gaze
In portraits, the subject usually gazes at the camera in a way that gives the impression that the he or she is gazing at you (the viewer). However, for this series, I wanted to have the subjects looking away, because not everyone wants to engage with others. Some people are more comfortable with avoiding your gaze.
